Life. Is. Short.

Yes, it really is.
So many of us realise this too late on it in life – or don’t get the chance to realise it when our lives are cut short by some unforeseen twist of fate, illness or accident.

“Man that is born of a woman hath but a short time to live, and is full of misery. He cometh up, and is cut down, like a flower. In the midst of life we are in death.” – from the book of common prayer read at UK funerals.

This website is intended to strike home a universal, melancholy thought. At the funeral of a loved one we are not just witnessing the passing of one life. We are invited to see each other – and ourselves – as dying animals. This should not make us desperate, but rather more forgiving, kinder and better able to focus on what really matters, while there is still time.
Treat this as your funeral site – one that you can visit as much as you need before you truly die.
